CANCELATION POLICY
What is the cancelation policy?
At Emma Langdon Tutoring, I understand that life can be unpredictable and that scheduling conflicts may arise. To accommodate these occasional changes while maintaining a structured learning environment, I have established the following cancellation policy:
Rescheduling Policy: Clients are allowed unlimited rescheduling of tutoring sessions, provided that a notice of at least 24 hours is given. If you need to reschedule a session, please contact me via email or phone at least 24 hours in advance. This flexibility ensures that you can adjust your tutoring schedule as needed without any penalties.
Cancellation Policy: Clients are permitted one cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice per month without incurring any charges. This allowance provides a safety net for unexpected events or emergencies that may prevent you from attending a scheduled session.
Subsequent Cancellations: If more than one session is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice within the same month, a fee equivalent to 50% of the lesson cost will be charged for each additional short-notice cancellation. This policy is in place to respect the time and effort that goes into preparing for each session and to ensure that I can maintain a consistent schedule for all my students.
No-Show Policy: If a student does not show up for a scheduled session without prior notice, it will be considered a late cancellation, and the 50% fee will apply if it exceeds the one allowed cancellation per month.
Exceptions: In cases of severe illness or family emergencies, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss potential exceptions to this policy. I aim to be fair and understanding in genuine cases of hardship.
