Combined, this comprehensive support helps reinforce classroom learning and builds a strong foundation for future success in math.
Introduction Form
We are going to take advantage of the one hour private tutoring session, so I will ask you to fill out an introduction form prior our meeting and to share. This way I will know how to best guide you.
How does private tutoring work?
Video Call
I tutor online using Zoom, utilizing a virtual collaborative whiteboard where both the student and I can write on the screen. Before each tutoring session, I ask students to send a text or email with pictures of any worksheets or problems they are struggling with or want to review during the lesson. I then paste these into the Zoom whiteboard so that everything is ready to go at lesson time. Additionally, I pull similar problems or materials around specific concepts to help fill gaps and provide extra practice.
Before the lesson begins, I will send out a link to the Zoom meeting so you know where and how to join us online. Once we are on the Zoom call, I share the whiteboard screen, allowing students to show what they are working on. After the lesson, I always share the link to the whiteboard so students can access it later and review what we covered.
Payment
After the lesson you can pay for the tutoring session via Zelle, Venmo or Paypal.
